File paperwork to form my businessForm a new business entity by filing with Florida Department of State. To form a corporation, file Articles of Incorporation and pay the $35 filing fee plus $35 fee to designate a registered agent. To form a Florida LLC, file Articles of Organization and pay the $100 fee plus a $25 fee to designate a registered agent. There is no expedited processing option, but if you hand deliver your articles, you can have them filed the same day. You can also file online or mail your documents to the Department of State. If you submit your articles online, your filed documents will be returned to you via email in 1-3 days. If you mail in your articles, normal processing takes 3-7 business days.
